This is Thelonious Monk's classic like you've never heard it before.  Commissioned by West Des Moines Valley, this arrangement takes Monk's classic ballad and deceives the listener into thinking they're hearing it the same way they've heard it a thousand times... until the montuno kicks in, turning this tune into an extremely danceable salsa featuring your lead alto player.  Grade 3.5.
