"Rings of Jupiter" was written first in 2011, but it wasn't until late 2012 when it would get its premiere, with UNI Jazz Band One.  With a mysterious opening, a driving afro-cuban feel, and even a moment of free jazz, this chart has just about everything.  The reed section needs to have proficiency on clarinet for the introduction, and there is even an optional oboe part at the end if your musicians are excellent doublers.  There is a version available with saxophones only. Grade 5-6.
