Here’s an arrangement of a very fun calypso tune by the great Sonny Rollins, based on my mentor Bob Washut’s big band rendition. This chart has an open solo section with changes in all parts for those of your ensemble who feel comfortable improvising in Db major.

Trumpet 1 up to high Eb; Trumpet 2 up to G; Horn up to 4th space Eb; Trombone up to high Ab, Tuba range only between Db in the staff to low Ab 3 lines below… as written, anyway.
